Stuart Morton has been a professional photographer since leaving school at 16 to work as a local newspaper trainee, going on to qualify from Stradbroke College Sheffield, UK with the NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists).

As a freelance photographer he has travelled around the world with his work, taking pictures on a variety of assignments from refugees in Afghanistan to Surfing competitions in Sri Lanka as well as covering the Six Nations Rugby in Scotland and abroad.

Stuart’s CV includes working for the Daily Mail, The Scotsman, The Press Association, Big Pictures, Splash News and Pictures, The Scotland on Sunday as well as the American magazines US Weekly, People and The National Enquirer.

In addition to this Stuart worked for as both photographer and Picture Editor for Big Pictures and Big Scotland agencies.

Since leaving the News of the World Stuart now lives with his wife and family in France where he works as the south of France correspondant for the French picture agency Abaca Press, covering News, Features and Sport in the region and abroad.
